Traditional sweets workshop of the Tolaki family in Naxos (operating since 1985), based in Glinado, Naxos. Owner Nikoleta Evangelou Tolaki. It prepares handmade spoon sweets (more than 20 flavors), jams, loukoumas and almond cakes with local Naxian fruits. For weddings and baptisms it offers traditional cupcakes/almond cakes and items for bonbonnieres, which is why it appears in the category “Invitations, Bonbonnieres”.

The per-piece price depends on materials, design and quantity — larger orders get a better unit price. Handmade elements and branded objects raise the cost. Plan one per family or one per guest, depending on the practice you choose to follow.
Order 3 to 6 months before the wedding, especially for handmade pieces that need production time. Ask for a sample to approve first, and keep a small buffer of extra pieces for unexpected guests — topping up an identical design afterwards is often impossible.
Tradition calls for an odd number — usually five or seven — symbolising the indivisibility of the couple. Beyond the custom, choose a quality of almond people will actually enjoy eating. Alternatives such as chocolates or local products are perfectly acceptable today.
