When should I book a makeup artist and when is the trial?
Book 6 to 9 months before the wedding — good artists fill their peak-season Saturdays early. The trial usually happens 1 to 2 months before, ideally on the same day as your hair trial so you see the complete look together.
What should I watch for at the makeup trial?
